General conditions

APPLICATION – To ensure a succesful reservation we kindly ask all our customers to apply at least 5 weeks prior to departure. Please note that all our tours have a limited capacity.

PAYMENT – A deposit of 30% of the invoice has to be paid immediately after the confirmation. The full balance has to be paid prior to departure.

MIN. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS – If a minimum number of participants of at least 25 pax cannot be attained until 15 days prior to departure we reserve the right to cancel the group. In this case all payments made by our guests will be fully refunded. There is the possibility to operate a group without the necessary amount of participants if all guests agree to an adopted price. No other compensations will be made.

PLACE AND TIME OF DEPARTURE – Place and time of departure will be announced together with the final travel documents approximately 15 days in advance. Any special requests can only be considered if they have already been made with the application.

TOUR GUIDE – Only if mentioned in the itinerary.

CANCELLATION POLICY – A certificate of insurance is mandatory



Service fee CHF 40.-
31 days prior to departure: 10% of grand total
30 to 20 days prior to departure: 30% of grand total
19 to 7 days prior to departure: 50% of grand total
less than 7 days prior to departure: 100% of grand total

Customers without a valid cancellation insurance policy can conclude a contract through our agency for the respective tour. In case of a justified reason of cancellation and immediate information the above mentioned cancellation fees will be refunded. Prices and conditions can be found in the appropriate insurance tables, but will be at least CHF 15,- including service fee.

A “24-hours Assistance”-Insurance can be obtained at additional costs. It includes various advantages in case of sickness or injury: help, support, transport and charges for an early return are covered.

Neither the cancellation insurance nor the “24-hours Assistance”-Insurance contain a baggage insurance.

THEFT – Any valuables (cameras, etc.) should not be left in the coaches. We take no responsibility for any lost properties.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS – Swiss citizens need a valid passport or identity card. Citizens of any other countries should consult with the appropiate embassy for further information. Every guests is responsible for the validity of his or her own travel documents.

CHANGE OF PRICE – All prices have been calculated at the time of the announcement and are subject to changes should any of the related circumstances change (eg. accomodation, exchange rates, etc.)

CHANGE OF ITINERARY – All our tours are operated at any weather conditions. Changes of the itinerary due to force majeure are reserved and are no acceptable reason for a cancellation. We do not take any responsibility for bad weather, disasters, strikes, riots, turmoils, acts of war or terrorism, etc. Arising extra costs caused by any of the above mentioned will not be refunded.

Please keep in mind:

  • effective from 1 March 2006 all passengers are obliged to keep their seatbalts fastened at all times (if available). We take no responsibility at all for disobedience of this law.
  • smoking and eating is not allowed in all our vehicles
